The website collects a series of general data and information each time the website is accessed by a data subject or an automated system. This general data and information is stored in the server log files. The following log data can be recorded: (1) the browser types and versions used, (2) the operating system used by the accessing system, (3) the website from which an accessing system reaches our website (so-called referrer), (4) the sub-websites which are accessed via an accessing system on our website, (5) the date and time of access to the website, (6) an internet protocol address (IP address), (7) the internet service provider of the accessing system and (8) other similar data and information used for security purposes in the event of attacks on our information technology systems.
When using these general data and information, the data controller does not draw any conclusions about the data subject. Rather, this information is needed to (1) deliver the content of our website correctly, (2) optimise the content of our website and the advertising for it, (3) ensure the long-term functionality of our information technology systems and the technology of our website, and (4) provide law enforcement authorities with the information necessary for criminal prosecution in the event of a cyber attack. This anonymously collected data and information is therefore analysed both statistically and with the aim of increasing data protection and data security in our company in order to ultimately ensure an optimal level of protection for the personal data processed by us. The anonymous data of the server log files are stored separately from all personal data provided by a data subject.

The data is collected for the sole purpose of providing you with access to our community. We store data in our CRM Brevo.

We have an existing contract for order processing with Brevo.
Note on the hosting provider
We use Hostinger as the provider for hosting our website. HOSTINGER operations, UAB, Švitrigailos str. 34, Vilnius 03230, Lithuania. We have concluded a contract with HOSTINGER operations for commissioned data processing and fully implement the strict requirements of the German data protection authorities.
Encryption through SSL
For security reasons, SSL encryption (Secure Sockets Layer) is used on this website. This protects transmitted data and prevents it from being read by third parties. You can recognise successful encryption by the fact that the protocol name in the status bar of the browser changes from ‘http://’ to ‘https://’ and that a closed lock symbol is visible there.
3. Legal Basis for Processing
Your data is processed in accordance with:
Article 6(1)(b) GDPR – performance of a contract (to enable community access)
and/or Article 6(1)(a) GDPR – your consent (e.g. for receiving optional communications or saving profile details)
4. Use of the Circle.so Platform
We use Circle Internet Services, Inc. (“Circle”), based in the United States, to host our community. When you register, your data will be transferred to Circle in order to create and manage your user account.
Circle processes data on our behalf and is contractually bound to comply with GDPR requirements as a data processor.

5. Data Transfers to Third Countries
As Circle is based in the USA, your data may be transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA). When your personal data is transferred to recipients in the United States, it is ensured that such transfers are:
to a recipient certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and (where applicable) the UK-U.S. Data Bridge; or
subject to agreements incorporating the Standard Contractual Clauses.

10. Google Analytics
This website uses functions of the web analysis service Google Analytics. The provider is Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”. These are text files that are stored on your computer and enable your use of the website to be analyzed. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
IP anonymization
We have activated the IP anonymization function on this website. This means that your IP address will be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area before being transmitted to the USA. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. Google will use this information on behalf of the operator of this website for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. We would like to point out that on this website Google Analytics has been extended by the code “anonymizeIp” in order to ensure an anonymized collection of IP addresses (so-called IP masking). Order data processing
We have concluded a current contract with Google for commissioned data processing in accordance with the latest version of the GDPR on May 26, 2018 and fully implement the strict requirements of the German data protection authorities when using Google Analytics.
Demographic characteristics in Google Analytics
This website uses the “demographic characteristics” function of Google Analytics. This allows reports to be created that contain statements about the age, gender and interests of site visitors. This data comes from interest-based advertising from Google and from visitor data from third-party providers. This data cannot be assigned to a specific person. You can deactivate this function at any time via the ad settings in your Google account or generally prohibit the collection of your data by Google Analytics as described in the section “Objection to data collection”.
